Residents,
As I am being pinged a lot about the pool, I thought it best to deliver this update and to bring up some awareness of issues developing.
Pool Update
- If we don’t repair the pool, there is no season until we do. It is not an option to do or not. If we want to use the pool at all it must be repaired first.
- All contractors have been paid to begin work. We have a timeline below that we have worked out with the contractors, but it can move due to weather, unforeseen issues, etc.
- We are shooting for a normal opening date of the Memorial Day weekend. We just can’t promise that date and have never promised the date. We have stated repeatedly that without the repair there will be no pool to use.
- We still have several residents who have not paid their annual dues or the assessment fee.
Project Timeline
(Work involves 3 contractors: concrete, electrical, and pool/plumbing services)
- Apr 7 to Apr 15 concrete removal - (City permit/electrical bonding work begins once concrete removed)
- Apr 15 to Apr 30 concrete pour can begin (weather permitting)/tile repair/plumbing/pump repair
- May 1 to June 1 finish repair, set pool pump and filters / City Inspection / post city inspection pool setup (load/flush)
- No Parking at the POOL. Signs will be posted soon.
That’s the pool status in a nutshell and yes weather can affect dates.
Community Reminders
- Remember the Common Areas are public areas for all residents. It is not to be used as your personal dumping ground or as a dog toilet and don’t use someone else’s property as a toilet or dumping ground either.
- When you are changing the color or structure of anything outside your house be sure to fill out an Architectural Request Form and get the approval from the HOA before you begin work.
- Be a good neighbor, don’t impede, cause damage, or nuisances to your neighbors and their property.
- Watch out for kids. We have a lot and I would hate to see anyone, let alone a child being treated and ambulanced away.
Looking forward to the summer of 26’ I hope you all have a wonderful and safe summer.
Regards,
Steve Hoskins
